FAQs

Yes, all our tours are available as private or corporate tours. Please contact us to find out more.

Yes, we offer gift vouchers and they can be redeemed on any of our tours. Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, and we can send a customised gift voucher by email to the lucky recipient.

In Malta, tipping is optional. Having said that, we encourage our guides to go above and beyond in providing personalised recommendations and info to make your time in Gozo amazing! If you appreciate what they do, a €5 to €10 tip per person is greatly appreciated.

Most of our food tours include at least 4 decent-sized snacks and a full meal which are enough for 99% of our guests to feel more than comfortably full by the end of the tour. Check the “What’s included” section on your tour for more details on what you can expect.

Yes! While you would think a Cocktail and Wine Tour involves a lot of drinking, this is not a “pub crawl” with cheap shots and sticky dance floors. You are welcome to drink as much (within limits) or as little as you like. In fact, we often have guests join this tour who don’t drink at all, but are just looking for a fun night and to visit a few new venues, or are travelling solo and don’t feel comfortable going out on their own. Drinking alcohol is not at all necessary to enjoy one of our tours!

Definitely! While anytime is a good time to take a Taste of Gozo tour, our guests who take a tour towards the end of their time often lament that they didn’t do it earlier. That’s because part of our goal is to give you the insider info to really make the most of your time in Gozo, with every guest receiving a map with our personal recommendations.

Things get wet. Grab an umbrella or rain jacket and get out there! Our tours are held rain or shine, and unless it’s dangerously rainy (extremely rare) our tours will proceed. Please check the conditions and dress appropriately. Most of our tours involve a fair amount of time indoors, so if it is foul and rainy weather, your guide will adjust the route to maximise time spent out of the rainy weather.

Part of Gozo’s charm is that it is old and historic. Unfortunately, this means that it is not well-equipped to handle wheelchairs and baby strollers. If small children are young enough, a baby carrier is highly encouraged. Those requiring wheelchair access would be best to organise a private tour where we can modify the route to ensure accessibility.

Please refer to the descriptions of each individual tours. There are steps and inclines involved in all tours but rest assured, your host will do their best to accommodate your needs. We are not running a race, so while we have a time-reliant schedule we have allowed for a casual pace of walking.

All our tours are appropriate for children, depending on their age, appetite and attention span! However, we would recommend our tours for children aged 9 and above.

Unfortunately, no – our guides can’t take cash payments for someone to join a tour, and all bookings need to be made in advance of a tour commencing. If you have any issues making a payment through our website, please contact us.
